The State of the art manufacturing facility at Thiruvalla is Thanima Plus’ pride. This large facility is churns out quality products following SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) that are in line with the global standards of production.
Only high quality raw material is used in the production of the aluminium non-stick products. 99.98% pure aluminium ingots from trusted manufacturers are used. These are first melted in a furnace. Red hot metal is sent to the rolling mills where these are made into sheets.
The sheets go through the process of annealing which softens the metal which means it can be cut and shaped more easily. Now the plate is cut into circles of various sizes for making different utensils. These circular forms are passed on to the cold press where in the vessels take shape. The extra portions are trimmed off.
These are drilled for handles as case may be. The pots and pans now progress to the cleaning section where they are cleaned with water and made absolutely spotless for the next round of processes. The effluent created from the process goes to the effluent treatment plant and then released out. Thanima plus thus maintains all environment guidelines in manufacturing.
Now begins the work of making these vessels non-stick coated. The vessels are sand blasted to give the surface a mild grip for the Du Pont Teflon coating to hold on to. These are then baked in an electric oven which ensures that the coating is stuck well and evenly.
The vessels are then applied HTR ( High Temperature Resistant) Painting on the outer surface. Handles and knobs are fitted and the finished product is ready to be packed. Quality tests happen at different stages of production to ensure that only the best quality reaches your home.
