The Thanima Plus achappam die is used to create the unique shape of achappam. The floral shape of the non-stick die creates beautiful evenly formed achappams. Achappam is a mildly sweet savoury from Kerala. The Thanima Plus non stick die is first dipped in hot oil and then into the batter of rice, coconut, jeera sugar, and water. Then it is immediately dipped back into hot oil. In few seconds the nicely formed shape of achappam detaches from the die. Repeat to make as many as you wish too.
